## Ready to get started?

### Create your account

1. Visit [our website](https://staffwatch.app) and select the button labeled **Login** in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Select **Register Now** on the right side of the screen or simply click [here](https://staffwatch.app/register).
3. Enter all required fields and click the **Create Account** button.
4. Once you've been redirected, enter your new username and password.
5. You will be prompted to verify your account.
6. Click the link in your email then log back in!

Don't forget to check your **spam/junk** folder if you can't find the verification email!

### Join Your Community

1. Locate the `Access Code` designated for your community.
2. If you can't find the code, contact a member of your development team.
3. Enter the code under the **Set Active Community** header and click **Join Community**.
4. Congratulations, you've joined your community!  🎉🎉🎉

### Get Permissions

Obtaining your staff roles depends on whether your server uses our Discord-based permissions system or not! Hopefully whoever gave you staff permissions already told you whether or not they use them, if not you might want to ask them!

1. Select **My Account** on the top-right of the screen.
2. Select **Connect Discord Account** and login with your Discord account.
3. If the server is configured properly, and you already have your staff roles in Discord then you should receive staff permissions on the website in **1-2 minutes**! 🎉

1. Provide your `username` to one of your communities staff managers.
2. Wait for them to update your staff rank on the community.

### Claim Yourself

If you want the ability use commands to execute staff actions instead of having to use the web-based panel, then you will have to claim your player profile. Not all games support this feature.

1. Find your profile on the staff panel using the **Player Database** or the **Server Dashboard**.
2. Select the **Claim Profile** button on the top of the **Identifiers** panel.
